A Georgia man allegedly disguised himself as a delivery driver to lure his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend to the front door before firing multiple shots through a cardboard box, striking him twice in the chest and twice in the forearm, authorities said.
Jacob Forrest Kevinsson, 33, stands accused of aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime in connection with the May 6 attack at a home in the 2000 block of Smith Street in Kennesaw, roughly 25 miles northwest of Atlanta. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m.

According to an arrest warrant obtained by Law&Crime, Kevinsson knocked on the victim's door and asked him to confirm his identity once he answered. After the victim confirmed who he was, Kevinsson opened fire through the cardboard box he had been holding up to conceal his face, police wrote in the warrant.
Kennesaw Police Officer David Buchanan told Fox affiliate WAGA that the victim sustained two bullet wounds on the left side of his chest and two more on his right forearm. Despite his injuries, the victim was able to walk to a neighbor's house for help, according to Buchanan.
Investigators later learned that Kevinsson had previously dated the victim's current girlfriend. Police said he fled the scene in a Toyota Corolla following the shooting. Officers identified him as a suspect and arrested him last week.
